This report details the interactions between men and women on South African Twitter between 1 February – 28 February 2023.The report aims to generate a deeper understanding of gender discrimination through an analysis of conversations on public social media. Two focus areas – fatherhood and gender-based violence and misogyny – were identified and used to analyse the data.
