Xenophobia Social Media Analytics Report 4

The fourth instalment of our Xenophobia & Migrancy reporting series makes use of Nimmo’s Coefficient of Traffic Manipulation (CTM) to isolate and analyse narratives within the anti-immigrant conversation. 10 unique hashtags are analysed to determine the extent to which the CTM flags inauthentic conversation and to uncover how these hashtags are used to further anti-immigrant sentiment. Finally, a network map of highly active authors was created and interpreted to elucidate prolific actors within the space.
