But with this easy access to news and information, also comes the issue of fake news. These are facts that haven’t been checked and just shared as true. With the current pandemic, the spreading of fake news has caused a lot uncertainty regarding the disease itself. We talk to Prof Camaren Peter from the Center for Analytics and Behavior Change about the dangers around the spreading of fake news on social media and how to fact check what we read on social media.
